Been working more and more with CentOS instead of Ubuntu since it seems to be better supported by more IBM software but can still be used freely and easily without having to register with RHN or a local RHN satellite.

First hurdle since I don’t use x86 machines anymore is to add the ia32 libs to the machine, in Ubuntu/Debian land this is ‘apt-get install ia32-libs’ hence the way I describe it. Using this I searched and see the IBM technote for setting it up:
